---------------------------------------------------------- Bobby "We enjoyed having you again this year. We wouldn't have had you return for the last 5 years if our festival goers didn't ask for you back. I'd like to mention that we do appreciate you being so professional and always on time". Julia Angelos, Festival Director, St Therese Kenosha ---------------------------------------------------------- I've known Bobby Way for nearly twenty years. In my capacity as Chairman of the annual St. Gregory the Great Fall Festival, I've hired Bobby Way and the Wayouts on more than a dozen occasions. From a fill-in afternoon gig during a chicken dinner to an integral part of a spectacular stage production encompassing hundreds of entertainers, he fills the bill perfectly, each and every time. With his years of experience and knowledge of the entertainment business, I've enjoyed his guidance and suggestions in helping me make St. Greg's Festival successful. I call Bobby Way the "Consummate Showman". I call Bobby Way my friend. Ken Malczewski - Chairman - St. Greg's Parish Festival 1976 - 2004 ---------------------------------------------------------- "Thanks for a great night. We loved the way you played to the crowd." Paul Griffin, Stone Bank Firefighters Festival, June 2010 ---------------------------------------------------------- Bobby, Once again thank you for a wonderful time last night. We made some great memories and enjoyed reliving some old memories your music inspired. "Sandy" was an awesome touch, and we greatly appreciate you taking the time to make it happen. Our testimony is below. "Having Bobby Way and The Fabulous Way Outs perform at my mother's 60th birthday was the best decision we could have made. They provided high energy, awesome vocals and a great variety of music. We felt like the Beach Boys, Beatles and Rod Stewart all made a special appearance. The dance floor was never empty and the guests were left happy and wanting more. They provided a personal touch that will be talked about amongst our family and friends for years to come." Please stay in touch. ~Happy trails, until we meet again" ~Jennifer Johnson ---------------------------------------------------------- Always a pleasure to have you guys. I believe that the guests had a great time. You are certainly right about our characters. RE/MAX Realty Center ---------------------------------------------------------- Bobby Way and the Wayouts Thank you so much for making my husbands birthday party a huge success. You were wonderful!!! People are asking me where I found such a fabulous band. I’ve handed out many of you business cards so hopefully I’ll get to hear you many more times! The music was great! I’ve even had a few party guests comment that the music was loud enough to enjoy but not so loud that they couldn’t hear each other talk. Not only was everyone in the band polite and personable but so was the road set-up crew. We felt like you were all friends by the end of the evening. We will certainly hire you back in the future. Thanks for being a fun part of a memorable evening. Lynn Krebs ---------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for doing such a good job for us. So easy to work with and wonderful clean family entertainment. Burdette Carter, Secretary, Grundy County Fair ---------------------------------------------------------- Hey Bobby and Louie: Kris and I just saw you at Wine and Harvest Festival. We think the band sounded as good today as we've ever heard you. Hope your day was a good one, and gotta love that dancing-smiling audience! John and Kris Ertl ---------------------------------------------------------- To all (particularly Bobby), You are ... "The Best!" My wife and I enjoy your unique blend of entertainment and music every year. More importantly, I personally enjoy seeing Bobby early every year on the 4th of July. Trading stories and comparing notes for 20 minutes before our festivities begin has turned into our own private version of "Same time - Next year". As for the Fair this year - the crowd loved you all! No one leaves for fear of missing some great music. The timing of the show is so perfect that I almost felt intrusive when I "intro'd" the group Friday evening. And yes, I did refer to Lynda as "tempestuous"; Bobby as the "not so tempestuous"; Chick as the "master of falsetto"; and Louie as the "techno-master hidden behind the drum stand". Thanks for letting me have some fun... Thanks for being one of the primary reasons we go to the Fair. Jay Walt ---------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for making our wedding reception, as my friends said, "the best reception they have ever been too" Art and Sheila Rumpf ---------------------------------------------------------- Bobby Thank you so much for your wonderful services over the past three years! Your band is such a delight to work with, and the families have such a great time! We hope to be in touch soon about next years event. Yours truly, Casandra Heston First Stage Children’s Theater ---------------------------------------------------------- "You guy's ROCK" Jason Krzewinski ........ Vice President Open Pantry Food Marts ---------------------------------------------------------- "....So again I want to thank you and your group for the music, the energy, and especially the professionalism you brought to the party made it a complete success." Dick Hess ....... Hessco Manufacturers Reps, Milwaukee WI ----------------------------------------------------------. "The Wayouts: You can search a long time before you'd fine four people with this level of talent combined into one group. Their group vocals are as good as anyone in the country" Paul Creighton ....... T. Skorman Productions, Orlando, Fl ---------------------------------------------------------- Bobby, We had a great time at Anne and Tom's wedding! Thanks so much. Everyone loved our band. Thanks again. Bob and Vicki Weske ---------------------------------------------------------- “When I come back from Florida each summer, it’s a tradition to visit the Wisconsin State Fair. I always look forward to seeing you at Rupena’s. That’s a yearly tradition I wouldn’t miss.” Travis Dowhen, Moore Haven, Florida ---------------------------------------------------------- To Whom it may concern.. I look forward to summer festivals each year, and look in the newspaper for the name Bobby Way and the Fabulous Wayouts. I’ve seen them at Summerfest, many festivals and at State Fair. Live music is always special, but this group plays music from the oldies all the way up to the most current. They are FUN to watch and they make you want to dance, sing, and have fun. Hope to see you many times this summer. Anonymous e-mail 3/2010 ---------------------------------------------------------- Thanks Bobby, "The Wayouts were the perfect choice for my daughter's wedding reception. Everyone, from the nieces and nephews up to my 82 year old dad, enjoyed dancing and listening for hours after dinner. "This is much more fun than a DJ!" was the most common response. Linda Lee's torchy vocals are equal parts Celine Dion and Donna Summer--"what a fabulous voice!." Your choice of song mix, harmonies and pacing were all superb". Great night, great memories, thank you! Tom Zimmerman, FOB ---------------------------------------------------------- Dear Bobby "Thank you so much for you help and guidance with our reception plans last month. You obviously know your craft. Your insight to the music selection was perfect, and really covered all of our guests tastes. We hope to see you at a festival next summer". Mike and Becky (May 2010) ---------------------------------------------------------- “We were guests at the Ibsen wedding last month. Your band was great! Just the right mix for all the different ages there.” Fleming and Margaret Sandersen Ortona Fl. ---------------------------------------------------------- We are from Illinois and have seen your band perform at the Wisconsin State Fair for years. What a surprise it was for us to attend a business associates wedding in Kenosha and find your band there. We were amazed at the different music we heard that was unlike what we heard at the state fair. It appeared that all of the guests really enjoyed themselves throughout the night as the dance floor was filled all night. If you ever need a recommendation for the versatility of your band, please have your clients contact us. You are a terrific wedding band as well as a state fair “staple”. Lou & Veronica Balsamico ---------------------------------------------------------- “It was a lot of fun and the band did a great job.” Ann Larkin, Vice President, RESTAT Jan. 2010 ---------------------------------------------------------- Hi Bobby and Everyone; A HUGE THANK YOU for helping us celebrate Gabrielle and Phil’s wedding (June 27th) way up in Berlin WI! Everyone loved the music and we all had a great time. You couldn’t have been nicer to work with and made the evening extra special. If anyone ever asks for a reference, count on us. We have one more unmarried daughter…….we would definitely love to throw another party. We’re watching your calendar and hope to see you again soon. Thanks again. Mary Detjen Berlin Wi. June 2009 ---------------------------------------------------------- I wanted to thank the band for a fantastic performance Friday evening. I spent months bragging about how good you were and you guys sure proved me right. Again, I am very sorry that I forgot to tell you guys to eat dinner. I feel terrible that you where here so long without dinner. Next time its filet and lobster! Thanks again. I look forward to seeing you guys perform in Milwaukee. Sue Fredrickson, Village Clerk........Luau Under the Stars ---------------------------------------------------------- We had a crowd of both young and old at the party, and this group had the versatility to please everyone. Even the staff of the hall where the party was held tried to get a glimpse of them whenever possible. Bobby and the Wayouts are very talented , entertaining, and just plain fun. They were the perfect group for our party. Scott C. Schloerke ---------------------------------------------------------- " I LOVE this band. They're my #1 choice for variety entertainment in the entire Midwest. They have great harmonies, lots of personality, and a song list that stretches from Milwaukee all the way to Dubuque, IA"! Paul Creighton, Executive Vice Pres., T.Skorman Productions...Orlando, Fl. ---------------------------------------------------------- Hi Bobby and Rhonda and the Wayouts: Thanks for a fabulous time at the fair. We enjoyed you so much! Hope everyone stays well and happy!!!! Judy Duckler ---------------------------------------------------------- The perfect volume and mix of music. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. Thank you. Kristin Wiseman (GE it Celebration Committee) Aug 2010 ---------------------------------------------------------- I talked to Bobby Way at Rupena's at the State Fair on Friday August 6, 2010 and told him that Margie and I have been listening to Wayout since 1982. And he suggested that we email our experience and history watching Wayout perform. We first saw Wayout at Mingle's on the west side of Madison, WI (near the Hillsdale area), Mingle's is no longer there. Wayout was one of the first bands that we saw that put on a full floor show, each night at 9PM and 11Pm they would put on a totally staged show with props and all. I remember Wayout doing Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody and they had the guillotine, the judge's bench and the two girls in the band had glow in the dark butterfly capes. Also, we couldn't forget Bobby doing his Carmen Miranda imitation complete with the fruit headpiece. We would go to watch Wayout whenever they were in town and would stay the whole night and watch both shows as well as dance to their music in between the shows. We always had a great time. They were one of the best show bands we ever saw and there were new show bands at Mingle's every weekend, but Wayout was by far the best. We happened to be in Stevens Point one time when we noticed Wayout was playing at the Midway Motor Lodge there. We sat at a front row table from 3pm in the afternoon until they started to play at 9pm just to be able to see them. The bartender said that the place gets really packed once they start playing and we wanted a good seat. It happened to be my birthday that day and I was taken up on stage with the band and I got to play a tambourine with them . I was rewarded with a certificate signed by all of the band members and it said thanks for participating. I don't remember all of the band member's names; I remember Bobby (of course) and one of the girl's names was Roxy. I believe she was the dark haired singer and there was a blond girl also in the group. I looked for the certificate to bring along to the Fair this year to show Bobby but unfortunately it is nowhere to be found. I will keep looking. We also saw Wayout at the Midway Motor Lodge in Milwaukee on Highway 100. They always put on a great show and were always involved with the crowd. Even on breaks they would mingle with the audience and were always very friendly. We did not see Wayout for a few years, but then we started going to the Wisconsin State Fair later in the day and spending the night there. We noticed Wayout was playing at Rupena's and we have been there every year since then finishing off our day at the Fair listening to our favorite show band and enjoying every minute of it. Even today, once Wayout starts to play the people pack the area around the stage and listen. Wayout is very energetic and fun to listen to as well as Margie told me once, "They make me happy"
